Diet Pepsi

Diet Pepsi was introduced in 1964 and contained no sugar, low calorie carbonated cola. In USA artificial sweetener Aspartame has been used to sweeten the tooth. In some countries around the world Diet Pepsi is also know and advertised as Pepsi Light. Diet Pepsi contained caffeine and there are some varieties without caffeine too. Diet Pepsi is available in different flavors like wild cherry, lemon, lime and vanilla. In 1963 Diet Pepsi was launched with the name of Patio Diet Cola, which was renamed next year as Diet Pepsi. As per Food and Drug Administration (FDA), any product with less than 5 calories is labeled as zero calories and hence in USA Diet Pepsi is with zero calorie. It is reported that in 1985 after Super Bowl XIX Joe Montana (member winning team) and Dan Mario met each other. Montana bought and presented Diet Pepsi to Mario and Mario pledges to buy the same drink for Marino. One commercial has featured Diet Pepsi can as an entertainer represented by Jay Mohr. Diet Pepsi is supposed to contain carbonated water, caramel color, aspartine as sweetener, phosphoric acid, potassium benzolate, caffeine, citric acid and some natural flavors.

l. Pepsi Free: Introduced in 1982 as caffeine-free cola and is today sold as Caffeine Free Pepsi and Caffeine Free Diet Pepsi.
m. Pepsi Gold: Gold colored variant for promotion of FIFA World Cup 2006 and ICC Cricket World Cup 2007.
n. Pepsi Ice: Pepsi with an icy mint flavor and sold in some countries.
o. Pepsi Lime: Lime flavor added, and was introduced in the spring of 2005.
p. Pepsi Limón: Pepsi with lime flavor released in Mexico in 2002.
q. Pepsi Twist: introduced in 2004, and now no longer produced.
r. Pepsi Music: Sold in Argentina.
s. Pepsi Red: Red colored Pepsi from Japan developed by Suntory.
t. Pepsi Si: The word sí used in its Spanish context ("yes") and printed on cans.
u. Pepsi Summer Mix: Pepsi with tropical fruit flavors. Released in early Spring of 2007, set to last through late summer.
v. Pepsi Tropical Chill
w. Pepsi Twist: A lemon flavored variety.
x. Pepsi Vanilla: Released in the U.S. in 2003 and contains Vanila extract as well as both natural and artificial flavors.
y. Pepsi Ice Cream: Released in in Russia.
z. Pepsi Wild Cherry: A cherry flavored variety, introduced in 1988.
aa. Pepsi X Energy Cola: contains more caffeine than regular Pepsi.
bb. Pepsi Cafechino: Pepsi with a touch of coffee only sold in India.
